Last week marked the launch of the luxurious new Cocoon Spa, located 409 Magill Road. Complete with a full body treatment of our choice, a spread of delectable canapes and a bottle of champagne, VIP guests were spoiled with the ultimate day of relaxation to celebrate.
The space itself is undoubtedly luxe, harnessing a modern minimalism that incorporates calming hues of grey and brown. Glowing with dim yellow lighting and exuding fresh aromas from various scented candles in each room, Cocoon Spa was truly a treat for the senses.
Getting into the ultimate relaxation zone
Mel experienced the Sweet Sensation package, which included a 30 minute chocolate-scented bath, foot exfoliation and massage, full body massage and a facial to finish. Starting with a hot bath, she had a full half hour to relax by herself, champagne glass in hand.
Although she fell asleep mid-way through her full body massage, the treatment was nothing short of divine from what she experienced while she was conscious! With incredible service customised to suit the individual’s needs – whether looking for a soft massage or a harder one – the masseuse ensured comfort was of utmost importance at all times.

Kristen enjoyed the Total Time Out package, which included a foot spa and pedicure, a full body scrub and massage and a relaxing facial. As she has really dry skin, the body scrub was just what she needed to restore some moisture and leave her skin soft and moisturised, especially after the massage which rubbed beautifully-scented oil all over her body.
Couple owners Leanne and Domenic Condina gave us a quick tour of the space after our treatments, showing us the wide ranging services they offer such as yoga classes, $29 spray tans in an automatic tanning booth, manicures and nail treatment and multiple massage packages/rooms.

Cocoon Spa really is one of the most incredible spa places we’ve had the pleasure of visiting in Adelaide.
