ATTN: THIS IS THE WURST NEWS TO HIT ADELAIDE

It'll be a real sausage fest.
It'll be a real sausage fest.

So now that I have your attention, listen up. The makers behind Nutella-Palooza (Event Management and Planning), Biggies at Bertram and the Henry Austin, along with other local vendors, are throwing a snazzy sausage sizzle like no other on September 24th and 25th from 11am -5pm as part of Chesser Street Events. This exciting new project will see Adelaide’s acclaimed Chesser Street come alive with a vibrant series of themed foodie events every 3-4 months, featuring SA’s finest food, wine and beer, entertainment and culture.

The Wurst of Adelaide is the first family-friendly BBQ event taking place on Chesser Street, in the heart of Adelaide’s CBD, alongside the newly established Henry Austin. Max Mason of the Henry Austin is looking forward to giving us a snippet of what’s to come in the near future.

“This part of town is utterly beautiful, the vine covering over Chesser Street will mean that our planned mid-summer events will be cool and classy. This is a great way to start the series,” said Mr Mason.

Winter is finally over (kinda), so what better way to spend a lazy weekend outdoors than with some fried up Wiener goodness. For all you fierce foodie competitors, do you have what it takes to eat 20 Chevapchichi in 10 minutes? Test your skills by entering the competition for $20, which you will get back if you manage to chow them all down in 10 minutes. You will also receive free entry on the Sunday to compete in the semi and there will be prizes for the ‘wurst’ winner, so be sure to arrive on an empty tummy.

Although the Wurst of Adelaide is an all ages event, under 18’s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. For more information about Wurst of Adelaide please visit Event Management and Planning.
