Zink Hair Unley recently invited us in to try the brand new Colorful Hair service by L’Oréal Professionnel, as well as L’Oréal’s strengthening and revolutionary Smartbond treatment.
Smartbond is a bond strengthening system that ‘protects and strengthens the hair during technical services (such as bleach and hair color)’, according to the L’Oréal Professionnel website. The treatment is a tripartite process, the first two steps of which are carried out in a salon and the third at home. As both Kristen and Mel have recently gone blonde and noticed significant changes to the healthiness (or lack thereof) of their hair, Smartbond seemed like a saviour.
Colorful Hair by L’Oréal Pro is their newest service, coming in eight vibrant shades ranging from turquoise, lilac, peach, pink and more. The best part about Colorful Hair is that it is only temporary and can be washed out, so you can essentially go as crazy as you like without worrying about permanence. Mel opted for a subtle peachy-pink shade while Kristen tried a lovely lilac.
