Delving into the world of eye serums with Esmi

Esmi Eye Treatment Bundle

One of our fave Aussie skincare brands Esmi is back with another revolutionary product to shake up our skincare routines. We started with the Skin Mylck range, the first skincare brand to use 100% Australian made probiotics produced in an Australian cGMP/TGA approved laboratory, and now they’re elevating our under-eye area to new levels of hydration with a collection of eye serums.

What’s the difference between an eye serum and an eye cream? Like the regular facial serums you know and love, an eye serum is a lightweight, easily absorbed formula with a high concentration of active ingredients that penetrates deep into the layers of your skin for maximum results. Being so lightweight and easily absorbed, an eye serum isn’t as moisturising as an eye cream, which is why Esmi recommends you layer an eye cream or balm over the top of an eye serum to lock in the product and moisturise the skin.

Esmi offer three eye serums to target three different skin issues:

  • Anti-Ageing Eye Serum, for crows feet, puffiness, dryness and fine lines
  • Hydrating Eye Serum, for signs of fatigue, puffiness and fine lines
  • Brightening Eye Serum, for dark circles, age spots, eye bags and wrinkles

Each of the serums comes in a beautiful recyclable glass bottle, so it looks cute sitting on your bathroom shelf and helps you to reduce your carbon footprint. I tried out the Hydrating Eye Serum for my dry skin, and I’ve been using it morning and night under the Eye Delight Reflection Eye Balm for a few weeks now. I love the serum because it gives my under eye area an instant dose of hydration to reduce any tired lines. This is super handy when I’m applying makeup in the afternoon as my under eye area can be a little dry and puffy by then, but after using the hydrating serum I find my makeup goes on a lot smoother under my eye area and doesn’t crease as much throughout the evening.

The serum also has these tiny little balls in it that gently pop and dissolve as you pat it into your skin, which is really fun as it feels like you’re watching the product be absorbed by your skin. Esmi’s eye balm is also super moisturising and has a specialised tip that you can use to apply it directly onto your skin – another lovely feature.

If you’re keen to give your under-eye area a little boost, Esmi have a great little bundle on offer right now where you can grab a serum of your choice, as well as the Eye Delight Reflection Eye Balm, for a discounted price.
