Casper&Pearl presents Abracadabra

One of our all-time favourite Adelaide designers, Casper&Pearl, are launching a new collection on Wednesday, the 25th of February, and we can’t wait!

The collection is titled ‘Abracadabra’, with the clothing inspired by old-school witch trials and 90s witchcraft shows. As someone who’s always been very interested in the magical and mysterious, we’re excited to see what designer Stacey Hendrickson has to bring to the stage!

The colour scheme will feature pale pink, black and red across Casper&Pearl’s usual cutting edge boxy and structured silhouettes. The show will no doubt feature at least one amazing signature print, carefully designed by the label to stand out and express the story of ‘Abracadabra’.

Each piece from the collection will have the word ‘Abracadabra’ inscribed in the material somewhere, paying homage to the Great Plague, when families would write the word somewhere in their clothing to offer protection against the disease.

After the raging success of Casper&Pearl’s ‘Hola Lola’ collection, we can’t wait to see what the lovely label brings this time. Tickets start at $38 for standing, or $48 for seated with a bonus gift bag! The ethereal ladies from AZALEA Models will be debuting the collection down the runway, and beverages and nibbles will be provided. Hope to see you all there!
