Okay you guys, we have some super exciting news: we’ve just embarked on a six-month partnership with Holden Australia, and we’ll be driving around a 2017 Holden Astra for the duration.
The car is sleek white, super modern and a whole lot of fun to drive. We’re not going to pretend that we know a whole lot about cars, but even for the non-car-fanatic there are plenty of features to get excited about here.
Our new baby <3
First of all: SEAT WARMERS. How did we live without seat warmers? Honestly, they’re probably one of the best inventions of the 21st century. Happy toosh, happy life, folks.
There’s also a steering wheel warmer. Gloves are so 2016.
The interface is completely touch-screen, and you can connect your phone to it and use apps like Spotify, messaging and Apple Maps through the screen. Not that you need to, since there’s already a built-in GPS.
Driving is suddenly so much fun
It also has a reverse parking camera, so you don’t have to turn your head around while reversing and accidentally get whiplash or something, and sensors all around the car that tell you when you’re getting too close to something.
Speaking of reversing, at the touch of a button this car can actually reverse park itself. As well as being super fancy, the Astra can pretty much just drive for you.
The amount of times that we’ve parked, rushed off in a hurry and totally forgotten where we’ve left the car has probably wasted years of our lives. The first time that we parked the Astra though, we walked off and received a cute little message on our phone letting us know it’s marked where we left the car on a map. This car is actually smarter than us.
