All the way from the UK, founder Holly Anna Scarsella has brought her family home, St Tropez, right to our doorstep. Choosing Adelaide as the first place to preview the collection, Pampelone will be showcasing their newest collection this Sunday with a pop-up event in Adelaide’s CBD.
Pampelone aims to offer the comfort of summer living with boho meets luxury resort wear encompassing a wide range of lavish, chic styles. The collection consists of beach dresses, tunics, kaftans and blouses with each piece made in India of the highest quality cotton. Before Pampelone, founder Holly was in the fashion market as a publicist. For Holly, it all started after spending her formative years split between the UK and her family home in St Tropez. It was here where Holly’s inspiration derived, wanting to bring the beauty of St Tropez and all her Europe experiences to life by creating a label so true to what it presents.
She says; “I watched the gorgeous women on the beach look effortless yet so polished- that’s the look I wanted to recreate! Travelling around Europe to Amalfi Coast, Capri, St Tropez etc, I was able to see so many amazing women- they’re who I get my inspiration from when designing the collection for women around the world.”
Effortless and sophisticated, this new-to-Australia label is currently stocked across London and Spain and, as of recent, Sydney Melbourne and Adelaide, with potential of taking over New York soon. Holly is extremely excited to bring her dream to Australia. She considers Australia to be ‘one of if not THE leading fashion market globally’ as she explains, “It is very exciting to launch here and test the market with South Australians who are known for making or breaking brands success. It’s more than flattering that the Australian customers and retailers have shown such interest in the brand especially when it’s so Europe inspired.”
What’s there not to lust over? This balmy label has us yearning for more with playsuits, maxi dresses, blouses and tunics taking us on a nostalgia joy ride through summer.
