Get your wine glasses ready… The Fruitful Pursuit comes to London!

Exciting times await Adelaide-born vino extravaganza The Fruitful Pursuit. They’ll be hosting their very first event in world capital London this Sunday the 11th of August at Sager + Wilde, and it’s definitely safe to say it’ll be a big one.

Run by very close friend of ours James Hopkins, we’re both so enthralled to be hopping along to this event to support a fantastic brand, and one we’ve been working with for so long (since it’s birthing roots way back in 2014, to be precise). From Mel’s huge 22nd birthday with a personalised wine tour through Clare Valley to wonderful wine tastings at Peter Rabbit Hindley, it’s now time to show London the future of Australian wine.

And what is the future? For James and The Fruitful Pursuit team, it’s all about promoting Australia’s wildly talented, lo-fi producers. Bringing together some of the most progressive winemaking talents, TFP offers tasty new drops with a cool vibe and a casual setting. Long gone are the days of poncy swirling with turned up noses, ‘good wine’ is a luxury here for everyone to enjoy.

This weekend’s public event (titled ‘Fresh Blood’) will be held at vibrant East End bar Sager + Wilde (where better than the East?) and will see wines by Architects of Wine, BK Wines, Jamsheed, Koerner, Sigurd and Ravensworth take centre stage. Wines are available for free tasting 3-5PM (only), then purchasable going late into the evening. Ooh, you can also expect gourmet BBQ fare and the classic Aussie dish of ‘fairy bread’ on the cards! If you’re in the wine industry, a lover of all things vino or simply looking for something different to do in central London, Fresh Blood is gonna be a pretty good shout.

To get involved, register your attendance by simply subscribing to The Fruitful Pursuit’s website here. Pop in your name and email and that’s it, you’re in! See you this Sunday.
