Getting a subtle glow on with Vani-T Bronzing Custard

vani-t gradual tanning cream

Way back in 2016 we were first introduced to Vani-T, and we fell in love with its sparkly cosmetics range and incredible tanning products. Fast forward to 2020 and Vani-T has rebranded with some chic packaging, added loads more products and even created a wellness range. Vani-T’s self-tan mousse was always a go-to for us (we even found some lurking in our cupboards when we got back from London), but the Bronzing Custard is one of its highest-rated products so we were keen to give it a whirl.

A 3-in-1 gradual tan, tan extender and moisturiser, Vani-T Bronzing Custard is designed to give you a natural-looking glow year-round. This is especially appealing to us in 2020 as any hopes we had of escaping Aussie winter for a Euro summer were dashed long ago, and we’re looking particularly pasty right now.

The formula features a blend of luxurious oil, fruit extracts, antioxidants and vitamins, like Australian Kakadu plum, Australian quandong and shea butter. Though it’s full of moisturising ingredients the formula isn’t greasy, applying smoothly and drying quickly.

One of the main concerns we always have with gradual tanners is whether they’re going to leave residue on your clothes and sheets. With mousses and sprays you usually leave it for a while to develop before washing it off, but with a tanning cream, it’s designed to stay on your skin. The Vani-T Bronzing Custard comes out as a white formula though rather than coloured, and so far we haven’t noticed any transferral of pigment, which is a massive tick for us as we both LOVE white bedding.

You can grab the Vani-T Bronzing Custard and the entire range of products off the Vani-T website and also from their range of stockists around Australia. We also got our hands on their magnetic false eyelashes (we’ve never tried magnetic lashes before!) so keep an eye on our socials and website for our experience with those.
