Each student runway we attend seems to get bigger and better, and this year’s Melbourne Fashion Week Student Collective Runway was no exception.
Featuring an expansive display of skills from selected students at some of Melbourne’s top design schools, we were treated to a smorgasbord of styles from explosions of colour, gothic influences and asymmetrical hemlines.
The students presenting were Isobel Hyland, Tristan James Hyde, Ashleigh Jessup, Danielle Rodriguez, Issy McSwain, Tess Whitfort, Jacqueline Horner, Jemy Kondo, Jodean Pereira, Jorgia Rose, Kalsi McGrath, Louise Bong, Alexia Brizuela Kozlowski and Sapphire Killean.
After the fantastic runway, the 2017 Student Designer Award was presented to Tess Whitfort from Box Hill Institute.
