Move With Happy Way, The Cooking Edition Ft. Dasha

Bright and early on Sunday morning, a large group of Adelaide fitness freaks descended on Plant 4 Bowden for the second Move With Happy Way event. Last time there was yoga, but this time Adelaide-based Instagram fitness influencer and personal trainer Dasha Gaivoronski got our blood pumping for a solid 45 minute bootcamp session with the hottest hits of 2017 blasting in the background as motivation.

Dasha had the whole room lungeing, burpee-ing and squatting during a ‘Tabata’ style bootcamp workout of 12 exercises (2 rounds of each exercise with 45 seconds of work and 15 seconds rest). After a quick cool down and a speedy social media upload we ventured upstairs to learn how to use Happy Way products in our kitchen.

Happy Way is not just a protein powder, but it’s also a lifestyle product that Dasha showed us how to easily incorporate into our every day lives via three recipes. The first was a creamy frappucino made from Happy Way’s Coffee protein powder, Almond milk, ice and medjool dates. The second recipe, which I have previously made many times in my kitchen with Happy Way protein powder for a nutritious and fuelling breakfast was a banana, oat and egg protein pancake. The final recipe was a tasty peanut butter protein ball which we were lucky enough to sample afterwards.

Every participant went home with a sample pack of Happy Way protein powder along with a Happy Way shaker, a complimentary coffee from Nutrition Republic and the three recipes Dasha had demonstrated earlier.

The event raised funds for the Kickstart for Kids initiative which provides over 40, 000 meals for students in over 300 schools every week as explained by founder and CEO Ian Steel who was also in attendance. To make a donation to Kickstart for Kids click here.

What will the next Move With Happy Way event involve? We can’t wait to find out.
