We love discovering new, locally-owned boutiques out in the suburbs; hidden gems that we can always rely on to find a quick piece to update an outfit.
Onio Boutique on Glynburn Rd is one of our latest discoveries, after the owner Domenique Caraccia reached out to us via Instagram.
Domenique started Onio Boutique as an online store a few years ago. After the website found success around the same time she lost her job in real estate, she decided to set up a brick-and-mortar store and take it on full-time.
While Onio Boutique stocks a range of affordable, fashionable labels, two that stood out to us were local brands Frio the Label and Siskool Clothing.
Frio the Label specialise in selling super-luxe ostrich-feather jackets, made with feathers sourced ethically from Hong Kong. Mel wears the ‘Tuxedo Black’ coat from Onio Boutique, however fabulous colours like emerald green, maroon and baby pink are also available.
Siskool Clothing are producing the essential basics everyone needs in their wardrobe, like fitted and oversized tees, hoodies and lounge pants. Domenique’s partner Paul Radice is the brainchild behind this street label, so you can be sure to find all their latest stock at her boutique.
The online store is currently down for a revamp, however the store is open Tuesday through to Saturday, giving you plenty of time to pop in and find that perfect outfit for the weekend!
You can find Onio Boutique at Shop 1, 88 Glynburn Rd Hectorville SA 5073
