Paige Rowe Launches Summer ‘18 Collection at the Old Regent

Renowned local designer Paige Rowe presented Adelaide with a new dose of her versatile style on Wednesday night, with the launch of her Summer 2018 collection. Eager Adelaidians filed into the Old Regent to view the label’s flexible and wearable summer pieces, and we weren’t disappointed.

The 13-piece collection featured Paige’s signature loose-fitting, lightweight designs, that draped and flowed in all the right places. The standout pieces featured chic graphic prints for summer and, as usual, all of Paige’s designs seemed very comfortable and adaptable. The clothes worked well layered together, but also stood strong alone, flattering women of all ages, shapes, and sizes.

We admired cascading waterfall vests paired with elegant asymmetric tops, in a palette of pale pink, rich red, and subtle hints of navy. There was also plenty of black and white, highlighting the wearability of the collection. We think the pieces are best paired with glowing summer skin and brushed-up brows, as seen on the runway.

The Old Regent, an elegant former cinema, provided the perfect location for such a collection. The enormous heritage space, which you might remember as the old home of Globalize, was recently repurposed and will now be used for events. Patterned lighting to match the collection helped modernize the space on Wednesday, accompanied by booming pop beats from Filip with an F.

Paige Rowe designs are made to order, so you’ll have to order in advance to purchase the easy, breezy Summer 2018 collection. Bookings are available now, so be sure to secure your appointment for an intimate styling session with Paige.
