Paul Dabek: Nothing Up My Sleeve

The UK’s Paul Dabek really does have nothing up his sleeve, but what he can offer from his bag of tricks is astonishing!

Dabek’s hour long magic show, Nothing up my Sleeve, is brilliant. There’s bewildering magic of course, but there is also a dash of sexual innuendos, a splash of audience participation and whole lot of comedy. In fact, the comedy was what won me over in this hilarious masterpiece of wit, humour and magic.

After a sold out season at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, big things were expected from this comical genius. Luckily, Dabek did not disappoint. His new show is bursting at the seams with fast pace magic, British banter and even something special and surprising for the finale.

Dabek welcomed his audience at the German Club – Studio with some quick and impressive tricks before launching into a show crammed with magic, jokes and slight insults that really had you on the edge of your seats.

There is nothing fancy about Dabek’s show; he uses items from the crowd and holds his own on stage without an over-the-top set. This is what was so great about the show, there is nothing to side-track you from his showmanship and he really allows the magic shine.

Packed full with spirit and a slight potty-mouth, this charismatic magician sure knows how to entertain a crowd. Dabek had the audience erupting with laughter, and his quick witted mind made for some hilarious impromptu banter.

This show is world-class entertainment and is something you must go and see. You won’t regret it!
