We’ve been collaborating with so many amazing local brands lately. In a time when they need it most, we can’t stress enough how important it is to be buying from and supporting small businesses. All of us are struggling. Every little bit we can do to help others counts.
When we were approached by SEEH Skincare, we naturally jumped at the chance to collaborate. This brand is not only Australian-made, but SA-based too. It was the perfect opportunity to do what we love – support the small businesses of our home state South Australia.
SEEH has a compact yet effective selection of excellent skincare products that are, you know, all the best things in life. Vegan, cruelty-free, organic, inspired by nature and proven by science. They also donate $1 to partner charity i=Change with every purchase made. Does it get much better than that?
Ranging from face oils and moisturisers, to clay masks and lip balms, there’s a neat selection to suit varying skincare needs. They also offer these gorgeous little bundles (which are on sale right now, by the way!) that are absolutely perfect for gifting.
Recently, we picked out a few of the products to try, choosing the CLEANSE Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm, NOURISH Superfood Facial Oil, CLARIFY Matcha Clay Mask, and REFRESH Balancing Hydration Mist.
The hero product, CLEANSE, was one we were particularly excited to try out. And it certainly did not disappoint. Having heard so many good things about makeup removal balms, it was the perfect opportunity to try one.
If you regularly cake the face (like us), then you’d be well familiar with the struggles of makeup removal… especially after a big night out. The idea of these magical balms is to melt away at the makeup without having to rigorously rub back and forth, unlike the act of using makeup wipes. Sorry wipe fans, they are mostly pretty rough on the skin, so we would definitely suggest ditching that wagon and getting onto the balms.
The SEEH Makeup Melting Balm only requires a very small amount to get the job done. Its consistency is similar to that of paw paw ointment, and melts when you rub it into your hands. Gently applying to the face and eyes, our thick mascara and eyeliner simply melted away without the need for a second application. No stinging eyes, no forced pressure, just smooth, easy and relaxing makeup removal. Yep, we’re officially converted. Makeup melting balms forever, guys.
Facial oil has always been a strong part of our morning and night routine, so we decided to test out SEEH’s Superfood Facial Oil. Albeit lightweight, this oil is a deeply conditioning treatment designed to restore and regenerate the skin barrier. It is infused with five ingredients: green micro-algae extract, acai fruit oil, raspberry seed oil, chia seek oil and pomegranate seed oil. That’s a whole load of good superfoods right there! We love using this oil after our serum and before our daily moisturiser.
The Matcha Clay Mask detoxifies and brightens the skin, reducing the appearance of pores and drawing out impurities. Suitable for all skin types, this mask is rich in natural moisturising oils and does not dry down completely, revealing a fresh complexion after removal.
Finally, we picked the Hydration Mist for something quick and easy-to-use. This product can be used every day, whether at the office working behind the desk or running errands on-the-go. A burst of freshness allows your skin to absorb the soothing goodness of organic rose hydrosol, aloe vera and active concentrations of Vitamin B and probiotics. For those with skin that tends to get a little dry over the day, the mist is a total treat.
