North Melbourne Street is full of wonderful restaurants and cafes so it makes sense to add a place where you can share a drink with friends, family and lovers.
Spot & Co is the new kid on the block and judging by the name it is the ‘spot to be’. Launching last Thursday night to a small crowd of media, Spot & Co certainly brought their cocktail A-game.
The first cocktail we sampled, Passiflora was a sweet treat comprising vodka, passionfruit, vanilla and prosecco.

The Scoville Heat was a hit … literally. With gin, elderflower, mint, lemon and apple plus hints of chilli this unusual combination was a popular favourite amongst guests.
Of course no cocktail list would be complete without an Espresso Martini and Spot & Co’s version, made from their own house blend of coffee, was not only smooth and silky but also had me buzzing for the rest of the night.
Vegetarian Empanada
In addition to their drinks list, Spot & Co also serve a variety of tapas, pizzas and desserts. We sampled the golden Vegetarian Empanada, a selection of fresh oysters, pizzas and a dessert drink we affectionately named ‘fun chocolate milk’.
