It’s been a pretty mild winter over here in the UK, which means we’ve had the luxury of still being able to wear cute clothes rather than bulky layers. Chic Melbourne-based label IDS sent us over some pretty pieces to style around London, so when we took a trip to The Shard we thought we’d wear them for the special occasion.
Mel is wearing the Sasha Polka Dot Playsuit, a lightweight and fun piece that’s super flattering thanks to the fixed waist. The halter-style neck has an adjustable fastening to create the perfect fit, while the split back adds a little drama.
Kristen is wearing the Gabrielle Midi Dress, a wonderfully feminine design featuring frill detail at the sleeves, waist and hemline. A high neck adds an elegant touch to this piece, while the delicate pattern creates a soft peach colouring over the dress. The Gabrielle Dress is currently unavailable online, however the Valentina Dress has a similar cut and a pretty all-over floral pattern.
In summer it would be super easy to throw either of these pieces on with some sandals, a hat and sunnies and walk out the door looking amazing. However, as it’s winter in London, we’ve styled each piece in a more wintery way. Mel paired the Sasha Polka Dot Playsuit with some thigh-highs and a coat, while Kristen teamed the Gabrielle Midi Dress with a wide waist belt, black scarf and coat and some leather ankle boots.
