Swing into summer, mini golf style

After having such an amazing time checking out their Christmas set-up, we were really excited to head back to Swingers West End to check out their new vibe for summer. Bringing back to life the glamour of the 1920s British Riviera, there’s plenty of whitewashed wooden strictures, winding flower features and vintage-themed mini golf courses to explore.

Featuring two nine-hole courses, The Helter-Skelter Course and The Big Wheel Course, each boasts its own cocktail bar and plenty of Insta-worthy spots so you can relax with a drink and take some snaps between holes. We played on The Helter-Skelter Course this visit, and some holes are definitely a lot more challenging than they first appear to be!

Swingers is designed to be a one-stop destination for your entire night out. As well as mini golf, the venue boasts four cocktail bars in total, one called Grand Hotel Bar which sits centre stage. Two pergolas by the Grand bar make it the perfect spot for first dates to get to know each other over a glass of wine or cocktail. A DJ ensures the music is always matching the vibes, and a pastel pink podium station is a worthy photo spot for any mini golf champ (and their two runner-ups).

It wouldn’t be a successful night out in London without some amazing street food, and luckily Swingers is here to provide. Four fun foodie spots, Patty & Bun, Made of Dough, Breddos Tacos and Hackney Gelato offer you everything from pizza to nachos to burgers, finishing off with a sweet dessert stand.

Kristen went for the Cochinita Pork Pibil burrito with a side of Breddos Fries, and the burrito was so big and juicy she needed a little moment there to take it all in. A little tip for you is to ask for a side of the cheese sauce for the chips, because their cheese sauce is honestly to die for and everyone needs to try it at least once in their life. Mel went for the Truffle pizza because she’s always a sucker for a bit of truffle, which came with portobello mushroom, fior di latte mozzarella, garlic, parmesan and truffle oil. The 12″ pizza was definitely a good size for one person, and it was incredibly rich with plenty of cheese and perfectly filling.

We’d recommend booking ahead if you’re keen to check out Swingers as it can get pretty busy and you don’t want to miss out on getting a time slot! To book, you can head to their website here.
