This year the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival is working to make the 2017 event bigger and better than ever before, with 19 days of fashion runways, events and parties set to take over Melbourne.
From a medley of designer runways, including showings from Camilla & Marc, Dion Lee, Manning Cartell and Thurley, the infamous GQ Menswear afterparty, and numerous seminars and fashion-focused panels, VAMFF is a sure destination for fashion lovers this March.
The Festival Plaza is the destination to start and continue your VAMFF evenings until well after the shows have finished, with hair and makeup touch-ups, gift bags and more at the Priceline Pharmacy Festival of Beauty Pop-Up, food and drink options at The Festival Bar and loads of bespoke retail activations.
For those travelling from interstate, Virgin Australia have put together some fabulous packages for guests that want the ultimate fashion experience. Packages range from $385 for return airfares and two nights accomodation, to $993 for flights, accomodation, runway shows and gift bags included.
Our pick of the packages would have to be the VAMFF Ultimate Fashion Experience, which includes airfares and accomodation for 2 nights, as well as tickets to Premium Runway 3 and VA Grand Showcase, a drink on arrival and gift bags at both shows. If you’re more of a party gal though, the VAMFF Fashionable Weekend Getaway is the package for you, with flights and 2 nights accomodation, tickets to Premium Runway 4 and Menswear Runway, a drink on arrival, a gift bag and entry to the GQ Menswear Afterparty.
