The unique interior is decorated by quirky and creative local art everywhere you turn, like the large mural dedicated to two of the world’s most iconic and missed musicians, David Bowie and Prince.

The new menu on offer, created by head chef Symon Conway-Lyden mirrors the interior’s artistic direction with all your classic pub meals available with a sustainable and organic twist. Vegans, vegetarians and fussy diners can relax because the Oxford’s menu caters to all different dietary requirements and preferences.

With the night’s offerings including addictive arancini balls, adorable bite-sized vegetarian burgers and several cheese and fruit platters, lets just say we were glad we didn’t eat dinner beforehand.

Local wines and beer along with a few imported beverages will keep you hydrated throughout your time at the Oxford but it was the cocktail list which had us excited. We sampled the Espresso Martini which gave us a strong but sweet caffeine hit and The Pillars Garden which had hints of mint and cucumber along with gin and was very refreshing.
