Style Society, located in Norwood, hosted a very special guest at their AW17 VIP Night.
Stylist Cimon Vozzo from Cimon Styling and Times Two Blog made an appearance that evening to give us some tips on how to nail this season’s hottest looks.
Personally, we can never get enough styling advice. Once you know how to style a piece of clothing, you can create so many different outfits and get loads of wear out of the one item.
Double denim is a trend many people are afraid of rocking, however once you try an easy denim shirt with a pair of blue jeans you’ll probably be addicted to this relaxed look. Cimon recommends styling this outfit with a leather jacket if you want to break up the denim, and a good leather jacket is an investment piece that you’ll definitely wear for seasons to come.
In a nod to the iconic Balenciaga jacket, Cimon says that military jackets are another good investment piece this season. Khaki and gold buttons are all the rage right now, however Style Society have some gorgeous black jackets with hardware for those a little nervous about buying a coloured version.
The extraordinarily popular cold shoulder trend has flowed over from summer, with off-shoulder jumpers and knits filling the racks at Style Society. Finally, you can’t scroll far on Instagram without seeing layering of all kinds. Tees under spaghetti straps and turtlenecks under dresses are just some of the many ways you can experiment with layering this season.
