Tunex tuning up local music

Good news, local music fans! This Saturday night (29th October), the Bluebee Room on Pirie Street plays host to an army of local acts with something for just about everyone to enjoy.

The all ages event, organised by local emerging music and apparel marque Tunex, gives young Adelaide musicians the opportunity to showcase their musical prowess in a live environment.

One of the masterminds behind the event and the Tunex brand, Dhenon Economou says he hopes it will be the first of many.

“Our idea is to help support up-and-coming local bands to try and push Adelaide music into the spotlight … we’re really looking forward to it!”

Three acts will be hitting the renowned Bluebee stage on the night, with promising acoustic talent Tom Wormald opening proceedings, followed by hard rock duo Hivemind and pop punk four-piece Acres Ahead.

Tunex apparel will be available for purchase on the night, as well as Hivemind merchandise including free (yes, free, for all you tight-pocketed Adelaidians) copies of the band’s brand new single ’10 Days Remain’.

Sponsored by everyone’s favourite Hills Cider and sangria specialists Caudo Vineyards, selected drinks specials will be offered from 7pm until late.

Discount tickets are available through Tunex Music & Apparel and a limited number of tickets will be accessible at the door.
