Uxbridge Kitchen

Dial up your Nanna or buzz your best friend because we’ve found your new favourite coffee shop. Uxbridge Kitchen, on the corner of Uxbridge and Kensington Road, is a cute family business that has recently opened and become an instant hit with the locals. If you’re anything like me, and are wildly sick of generic coffee spots, this authentic, home-style café will have you weak at the knees. The décor is simple yet elegant, mirroring the food, and of course the coffee is delightful too.

Cheese & almond croissant

Uxbridge Kitchen clearly has a passion for quality, South Australian food as their menu boasts plenty of locally sourced foods, including SA smoked bacon and Kangaroo Island eggs.  The menu includes a range of sweet and savoury delights for breakfast and lunch, with both the ham & cheese and almond croissants being personal favourites. Their specials menu is exciting and ever-changing, and includes soups and frittatas, perfect for winter lunches.

For those stuck in that 9-5 grind, and after-work catch-ups are more your style, fear not as the family is also opening a small bar and restaurant on the other side of the Regal Theatre. Hula Hoop, which will have a Spanish vibe, is opening soon and undoubtedly will be as effortlessly cool as the café.
