Adelaide Fashion Festival’s Spotlight on Light Square

The Festival State strikes again.

Perhaps this is biased as a through and through Adelaidian, but it seems that ‘The Festival State’ is getting trendier and trendier by the month. October is certainly no exception, with the eighth annual Adelaide Fashion Festival (AFF) being held from 22-25 October 2015. Sponsored by Mercedes Benz-Adelaide, the festival aims to showcase both established and up-and-coming South Australian designers, as well as exhibit the best of SA’s photography, food, wine, hair and make-up artists.

In this eighth year, under the new management of Events South Australia, the festival is being promoted to the international stage, thereby highlighting the best of Adelaide’s fashion talent to a wider audience and growing our fashion industry.

With only days to go, the excitement surrounding the event has escalated with the announcement of AFF’s new premier partner, Palladium on Light. The Palladium Apartments, situated at 69 Light Square, is a beautifully architecturally designed building, inclusive of 63 apartments and 18 stories. In the new and most interesting quadrant of the city, Light Square is the perfectly stylish surrounding to emphasise the innovative creativity of South Australians.

The stunning apartment setting is the perfect partnership for the festival. Tessa Moorfield, Development Manager of Palladium on Light, states that they are “focused on… [designing] homes that not only look sensational, but feel incredible”, which in essence is every fashion designer’s goal.
