Attending the Eros launch party

Sydney has a brand new ‘it’ spot and this bustling Potts Point venue will transport right into the heart of the Greek Islands for a night. Named after the Greek god of love and sex, Eros Sydney opened its doors officially just last month and we were ecstatic to attend the VIP launch night in collaboration with Tropicool PR.

Reminiscent of a trip to the cobbled streets of Mykonos, Eros’ interior features a colour palette of sleek neutrals and crisp white hues, complete with bohemian rope wall art, understated pottery, and rustic wooden furniture. Everything about this venue hits the marks for something new and refreshing in Sydney, boasting an environment that’s designed to give the people what they want: good food, good drinks, and a damn good party.

Being both a bar and eatery, you could spend your entire night here if you chose to. Start with a group dinner of authentic Green street food, end with bottle service in one of the plush booths. When the sun goes down and the DJ comes on, their main courtyard area becomes a buzzy nightclub, with warm, dim-lighting adding to a moody atmosphere. It’s definitely an ideal spot to spend your birthday celebrations in style.

The launch party was vibrant and full of life, with every square foot filled with influencers, bloggers, and celebrities of Sydney’s social scene. Our favourite canapes were the feta and watermelon skewers, souvlaki, cheesy mozzarella sticks, and oysters (of course). Although arguably uncouth, our drink of choice was the old faithful tequila shot, which always leads to a memorable (or not-so) night out.

If you’re dreaming of the unrivalled nightlife that encapsulates the islands of Mykonos and Santorini, well, Eros is your next best option. Find out more about the venue and book now through their website here.
