We were very excited to attend an exclusive VIP event last Friday night at the stunning new QuickSteps Dance Club Studio and Bar at 255 Gouger St, to launch their first ever Dance Week.

Upon arrival, we were blown away by a surprise performance from dancers, Hannah and Adam. The pair showed off their moves with a mix of swing and Cha-Cha, full of effortless twists, lifts and dips which left us speechless and wondering how on earth we were going to attempt that in our complementary dance class soon to follow.

With an espresso martini in hand and wearing our new sparkly dance shoes kindly gifted to us by the Australian Dance Week team, we stepped out on to the dance floor. The men timidly stood on one side of the room and ladies lined up on the other. Soon enough though, the friendly dance teachers got us into the ‘swing of things’ and before we knew it, we were dancing the basics of the Rumba, Salsa and Swing like pros!
