Barrister’s Block Wines meets Crush Festival

Your favourite Adelaide Hills extravaganza is right around the corner and it’s time to start thinking about which wineries you want to visit this Crush Festival.

On Friday the 26th of January to Sunday the 28th of January, Barrister’s Block Wines will be hosting their biggest and best Crush event yet, with loads of entertainment, food and wine offerings and interactive experiences to explore. We’re talking bubbles, sweet treats, espresso martinis, a magical forest, an animal pen with alpaca and deer, and so much more. Sounds ideal, right?

Barrister’s Block have teamed up with a number of local businesses for a fresh approach, one of which is the recently rebranded Bicchiere Bar (previously Champagne Co. Bubbles Bar). This activation will be stylishly arranged by the Australian Bridal Industry Academy 2017 SA Stylist of the Year, Venue Productions, and will offer a choice of Aperol Spritz or glass of Blush bubbles. The Bicchiere Bar carts have been brought over directly from the cultural city of Tuscany, Italy, and will provide the perfect Instagram moment.

As for espresso martinis, relatively new local business EM Espresso Martini Van will be donning the goods. Having last indulged on an EM beverage at their Adelaide Fashion Festival activation, it’s safe to these guys know how to shake up a mean espresso martini.

Justin Mok will be booking the music entertainment and is well known in Adelaide for working local venues The HWY, The Warradale and The Morphett Arms, gigging with his very own band as well.

Another Instagram opportunity will see lovers of dessert and foodies drooling over St Louis Ice Cream Cart. St Louis’ dreamy ice-cream flavours are always a delight, providing the ultimate summer snack.

And why not take a peek into the magical forest situated just beside the winery, and you’ll leave feeling like something out of a Disney fairytale. While the forest has lost all of it’s greenery due to the hot summer’s heat, there’s something so eerily magical about the rows and rows of dead-looking trees.
