Adelaide’s premier body positive gown hire boutique for women’s sizes 12-20, 808 Threads, is celebrating with a belated launch party next month!
The lauded stockist of major brands including La Maison Talulah and Elle Zeitoune started up in April and is now inviting its supporters, existing clients and any new faces to clink their champagne glasses together to honour 808 Threads growing success.
The party will be hosted at the store’s location on 13 Hampstead Road, Manningham on Saturday August 5 between 11am-3pm, with Lauren De Cesare from Adelady hosting a media call at 12pm.
The flexible time frame allows guests to drop in according to their own schedule where they can enter a raffle featuring amazing local goods and vouchers from local labels including Deux Earrings, Ithica Fashion and more. Wine and nibbles will also be supplied for guests to munch on while they mingle.

Founding Director Alexia Frangos invites attendees to try on outfits they admire on the day if they wish, or alternatively they can book a one-on-one consultation with her to see the whole range of dresses that may not be available at the time of the event.
“Our aim at 808 Threads is for women of any shape and size to feel empowered,” she said.
“We’re all about body positivity and letting women feel their best, and the launch party will help celebrate that message.”
