If you’re still using an old-school electric toothbrush, let us introduce you to Bonny. More than just an electric toothbrush, they’re carving a space for themselves as a high-tech eBrush, supposedly helping you take the best care of your teeth possible. We took Bonny for a test ride to see whether it lives up to the hype.
When we first received our Bonny package, we must admit it is much more aesthetic than any other toothbrush we’ve used before. Sleek black with smooth, clean lines, it sure looks chic sitting on our bathroom counters. It comes with a simple USB charger and some replaceable heads, which is always nice to ensure you’re well-stocked for a while after your first purchase.
Bonny has five different modes, all conveniently listed on the handle. The current setting lights up when in use too so you always know you’re using the right one which we love. According to the website, each of the five settings has been created using powerful sonic vibration technology. The motor can produce up to 40,000 sonic vibrations per minute, which is a lot of cleaning power if you ask us. The five settings range from the basic clean to soft and sensitive for those with gum issues to polish and white for those craving glowing teeth.
I’ve been using the sensitive setting as my gums can be a bit temperamental and it does offer a nice gentle clean while still polishing everything up really nicely. The brush heads I’ve been using are the DuPont nylon bristles that come with Bonny, however I also have the charcoal-infused ones I’m keen to try out soon.
Bonny is definitely nicer than the supermarket brushes I’ve used before, and I feel like I have my life together with such a stylish brush sitting in my bathroom. If you’d like to try out Bonny for yourself, head to their website.
