couture+love+madness presents Lady Camellia to International Stage

When asked to describe the three most important things in a woman’s life I would simply say, Couture, Love and Madness! South Australian label, couture+love+madness has not only done Australia, but fashion proud at the 16th Annual Qingdao International Fashion Festival held in Qingdao, China.

Head designer Cristina Tridente showcased the label’s Spring Summer 2016 collection, Lady Camellia on Friday 13th saying, “It was such a fantastic opportunity to showcase at the 2015 Festival and I am really excited to be here once again. It is such an honour to showcase amongst famous Korean and Chinese designers and I really want to put our state on the map for fashion.”

Lady Camellia is a romantic collection, which draws inspiration from the South Australian designer’s recent travels around China, India and South East Asia.

The textured fabrics, flowing silhouettes and pale colours embody the camellia flower and take a more undone approach from the previous Silk Road Collection.

South Australian based jewelry label Use by Simon Williams and floral stylists Bizzarro feature and compliment the exquisite gowns in the latest collection with Cristina expressing her excitement to work with and showcase locally based labels.

In 2015 couture+love+madness became the first Australian fashion label to be invited to showcase at the Festival with the highly acclaimed Silk Road Collection.

couture+love+madness will return home to showcase a new collection at this year’s Adelaide Fashion Festival from 19-23 October 2016.
