Crooked Cutting Studio delivers fresh trims at BRKLYN

As if BRKLYN couldn’t get any cooler, already housing Soundpond, a jewish-style deli and, you know, the actual bar, they’ve gone and added a barber shop to the mix.

Crooked Cutting Studio, run byย Kieren Kuzyk, offers mens and short-haired womens haircuts, following the same share-space and relaxed atmosphere found around the rest of BRKLYN.

Unlike other hairdressers, Crooked Cutting Studio is opens in the afternoon and closes around 10pm, allowing night owls and 9-5 workers to get their trim in the later hours of the day. Starting a night out on the town with a fresh trim and a cold beer from the bar? Sound good to us.

Australia Day Eve saw Kieren hosting a number of media and guests for a fabulous launch party, with tasty treats from the deli, cans of Moritz from the bar and music from the guys at Soundpond. Bailey Nelson had a little pop-up stall as well that kept us entertained for at least 10 minutes trying on all the cute and quirky frames.
