We originally stumbled across this cute and quirky handbag company on Instagram when we saw the AUS State Clutch collection. A series of clutches dedicated to each state, using phrases commonly found on number plates, they were super unique and super fun. The New South Wales one, for example, boasts the slogan ‘First State’ and features a chic yellow beaded design against sparkly white sequins.
Although this collection is originally what drew us to Aphro & Co., we each fell in love with a different bag that we knew we had to make our own. Kristen’s eyes were drawn to the trend-led design of the Chunky Chain Bag in vibrant emerald, the perfect piece to elevate any outfit and add a pop of colour. The chunky gold chain makes it a great seasonal statement piece, while the longer, thinner chain is a little more timeless and allows you to pop it on over your shoulder and go hands-free on a night out.
