Forget 50 Shades of Grey, 15 Shades of Rosé at 2KW is All You Need This February

Anyone who has even watched Legally Blonde knows there’s so much more than just one shade of pink. From blush to fuchsia, the possibilities are truly endless. So it’s only fitting that, when it comes to Rosé, the shades and variations are as diverse as the many shades of pink seen on runways and in the rainbow.

This Saturday the 17th of Feb, Adelaide’s favourite rooftop will treat guests to a tour of Rosé. The event will be 2KW Bar and Restaurant’s second Rosé-inspired party and will take partygoers through the many different shades of Rosé including pale salmon, tangerine, ruby strawberry, magenta, onion skin orange, vivid purple, and hot pink.

It’s not just different shades of Rosé, but different varieties from all over the globe. Guests will truly take a global tour of Rosé from our very own Adelaide Hills, Clare Valley, and Barossa to Italy, France, and Spain.

From 1pm to 4pm, 2KW will showcase selections from producers such as Graci, Domaine de Chatillon, Hersey Vineyards and Yetti and the Kokonut. 2KW’s General Manager, Simon Adami, knows that Aussie wine lovers are becoming more educated about what’s in their glass, so the venue’s Rosé Day will be a perfect opportunity to learn more about the pink drink.

“The thing we love about Rosé is that all red grapes are welcome and each one brings a very unique taste to the party,” said Mr. Adami.

“This event will give a fantastic representation into how different each variety can be, by exploring the flavours behind 15 various shades and regions. With producers and sommeliers pouring wine and joining the party, wine-loving guests have the opportunity to dig deep, ask questions, and discuss their favourite style in a relaxed and vibrant setting.”

While it’s all about the wines, Adelaide’s favourite rooftop bar will also serve up a delicious array of Mediterranean-inspired food. Tickets for the event can be found on 2KW’s website, and include a glass on arrival, tastings, and food across the afternoon.

The dress code is pink and white, so start collecting your favourite pink pieces to match your drink for the event. Adelaide’s most coveted rooftop hangout space is going to become a sea of pink that will rival even The Plastics on a Wednesday.

Barbie, eat your heart out.
