We’re just a little bit obsessed with cult beauty brand Glamglow, having used their fun face masks for a while now. When we heard they were launching a new product we couldn’t wait to try it out, so we went along to their London party to give this new moisturiser a go.
Moisturetrip™ is the newest member of the Glamglow family, an omega and antioxidant-rich moisturiser that uses hemp seed oil and changa mushroom. These key ingredients help to soothe irritation and combat redness, while hyaluronic acid delivers a healthy dose of moisture. Though it’s a cream moisturiser, it’s designed to be lightweight and also works to protect against blue light exposure.
When we played around with it we found it to absorb quite quickly on our skin, leaving it moisturised without feeling heavy or like there was loads of product sitting there. We didn’t really get much of a smell from it either, which is fantastic if you’re layering it with serums and sunscreen (nobody wants to layer four different scented products on their face). We’d highly recommend the product for anyone with dry and sensitive skin, as we feel it would be very calming for any irritation on your face. Moisturetrip™ is also free from any bad bits like alcohol, silicone or sulphate, and is certified vegan.
The launch party was held by the pool at the Haymarket Hotel, the perfect setting for a warm summery evening. Glowing lights filled the pool while talented gymnasts with light-up hula hoops and a twirling disco ball danced. We need to give a special mention to the tasty af food here, especially the jaffa cake macarons for dessert. Truly amazing.
