Not all body lotions are made the same, which is why we’re always searching for the perfect moisturiser to keep our dry legs soft and supple. We were recently offered the opportunity to try out Breeze Balm’s Honest Hydration Naked Body Cream, and we have to say we’ve been loving the results. From a brand with three generations of legacy-leaving formulas and products though, we’re not surprised we’re obsessed with this gorgeous lilac bottle of goodness.
Though the packaging and branding is contemporary and playful, Breeze Balm’s history is anything but. Rooted in 70 years of secret family recipes, including a cult-status lip balm created by Breeze Balm founder Sammy Leo’s grandfather, these products used tried-and-tested ingredients that are easy to fall in love with.
The Breeze Balm Honest Hydration Naked Body Cream is fragrance-free, dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic, meaning it’s gentle on the skin and perfect for those with conditions like psoriasis and eczema. Rather than packing the formula with dozens of ingredients, Breeze Balm keeps it short, simple and sweet, and you’ll find familiar heroes like paraffin and stearic acid (which comes from olive oil) in there.
Though it’s moisturising, it’s super lightweight and is absorbed into your skin quickly so you’re not left feeling greasy while trying to get dressed after. As an added bonus, the pretty purple bottle looks stunning sitting on your bathroom shelf.
The body cream is also vegan and cruelty-free, which comes as no surprise as the brand has an admirable ethical stance. Breeze Balm say they are passionate about helping the community, which is evident from the product and cash donations they’ve given to help support NSW Fire Service and other bushfire-related foundations, Gold Coast University Hospital, Mount Sinai Brooklyn (to support them through the COVID-19 outbreak), as well as others.
You can shop Breeze Balm’s Honest Hydration Body Cream and the rest of their colourful range of face, body and lip products on their website.
