Ketel One Botanical Spritz Garden

This summer seems to be the summer of Ketel One Botanicals, with beautiful pop-ups and refreshing cocktails using the spirit popping up all over London. The latest in this series of activations is the Ketel One Botanical Spritz Garden at Wild by Tart, right by Victoria Station.

The stunning space used to be a power station and coal store, but you would never guess looking at the contemporary and bright interior now. The high domed roof is tiled with large windows, flooding the room with soft, natural light. Copper and marble furnishings add some sartorial décor to the space, providing the perfect setup for the Ketel One Botanical pop-up.

Any green thumbs are going to love the new additions to Wild by Tart, courtesy of Ketel One. Vibrant green plants have been thoughtfully placed in every nook and cranny, on tables and hanging from fixtures. Fresh herbs at the centre of every table allow you to pick whatever takes your fancy and add it to your drink, making it a really fun and interactive experience. The whole setup works together to create a botanical greenhouse that provides a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle from London,  the perfect spot to relax with your friends on a summer day.

As well as the original low-calorie spritz mix of Peach & Orange Blossom, Mint & Cucumber or Grapefruit & Rose paired with soda and complementing garnishes, Wild by Tart has created three new spritzes. Using bubbly London Essence Sodas as well as a range of fresh fruit and herbs, guests can order these refreshing drinks alongside a selection of dishes from the kitchen. Charred sourdough flatbread with za’atar, fresh pea mash with pickled chilli and feta and smoky taramasalata with nigella seeds and pickled cucumber are just some of the summery menu items available.

Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison’s restaurant Tart has earned a name for itself for serving delightfully fresh dishes using local and seasonal produce, and their new venture Wild by Tart is no different. Serving breakfast and lunch dishes, alongside coffee and homemade goods like chutney, this space will soon launch a restaurant in September 2019, which we can’t wait to head along to and check out. In the meantime, the Ketel One Botanical Garden has a residency at Wild by Tart until June 30.
