Now that we’ve captured your attention with the inappropriate connotations of our title, we’re excited to announce that the geniuses behind the Little Miss Group officially set sail to their anticipated new project just last Friday night. After hosting the launch party to end all launch parties, it’s safe to say this bar’s going to be our new favourite East End hangout!
Keeping within the sea-theme of summer installment, Crab Shack, the group have renovated previously known and loved indoor bar Little Miss Miami and turned the space into Little Miss Dive Shop for the winter. Needless to say, we’re loving the new renovations. Just like their previous projects Little Miss Miami, Little Miss Mexico, Crab Shack and the ongoing, ever-popular Fringe Festival bar, Royal Croquet Club, Dive Shop is sure to be a hit among the Adelaide social scene. These guys can do no wrong!
Scuba hostesses
Greeted by gorgeous models in scuba-gear, we entered an underwater paradise decked out with all-sorts of fishing decor. Ropes hung from the ceiling, fishing rods and second-hand buoys decorated the walls while a beautiful, built-in aquarium full of exotic fish stood central to the bar: the perfect nautical-themed set-up.
Waitresses circulated the space offering VIP guests a range of beverages and delectable Cuban-American inspired treats, including the likes of gourmet sliders, cobs of corn and the oh-so-amazing fish tacos which will all be options available on the Dive Shop menu.
Upon opening doors to the public at 9pm, everyone was itching to get through the doors to see what all the fuss was about. With a massive line-up and limited capacity, Little Miss Dive Shop was pumping for hours on end. The night consisted of a lot of alcohol, breezy beats and your fair share of lame scuba dance moves.

Showing us the best Adelaide nightlife has to offer, Little Miss Dive Shop will be open from 4pm till late every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday to satisfy all your nautical needs. Wednesdays will feature $3 hotdog specials and Thursdays will play host to $10 fried chicken bucket nights (!!!). With these awesomely affordable prices, you really have no excuse not to go.
Now officially certified divers, we definitely cannot wait for our return. See all you divers out there!
