It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to sip on spritzes in the beautiful country of Italy, but with the Disaronno Villa at Guestlands Italia B&B, you can recreate that experience right here in Sydney.
This stunning boutique accommodation will have you feeling like you’ve just stepped off the plane in Tuscany (minus the 20+ hour flight and jetlag). Wander through the traditional Parterre garden, by splashing fountains and over rustic bridges while the gentle sounds of the creek and waterfalls wash over you. Take a dip in the luxurious pool and spa overlooking the picturesque greenery and throw a coin into the wishing well when you’re done – Guestlands is truly like something out of a European fairytale.
There are four Disaronno-themed villas on the grounds, all fitted out with cosy Disaronno robes, throw blankets and cushions for you to snuggle up with your partner and truly rest and unwind. Enjoy an aperitivo on your balcony with your Disaronno Fizz cocktail kit conveniently located within your room, or take your spritz out to the garden and have a picnic with all the tasty goodies in your antipasto basket.
For those really looking to live la dolce vita, guests can even book a private chef and enjoy an alfresco candlelit dinner under the stars.
The Disaronno and Guestlands partnership couldn’t be more perfect, with Disaronno being an iconic Italian liqueur made in rustic Sarrono. The amber-coloured amaretto drink is known for offering a delicious almond taste, however it’s not actually made with almonds. Infused with apricot kernel oil, burnt sugar and seventeen different herbs and fruits, this complex and delicious liqueur is a favourite of many. Other than the Disaronno Spritz, our favourite way to enjoy this drop is in an amaretto sour.
If you’re keen to transport yourself to Italy for the weekend, you can book La Casa Disaronno through the Guestlands website.
