Today we have an extremely simple and easy eye tutorial for you all. This is a soft and subtle look that’s perfect for when you are in a rush, but still want to look polished and chic. The beauty of this tutorial is that it easy to do and only uses 3 eye products. With practice, this look can easily be done in 1 minute.

Products:

  • NYX Pigment in Pearl Mania
  • Mac PaintPot in Painterly
  • Mac Eyeshadow in Saddle

Brushes:

  • Small flat eye-shadow brush
  • Soft and fluffy blending brush

step1c

Step One: Preparation
Prep your lid with M.A.C’s Paint Pot in the muted, soft pink colour Painterly. This step is crucial as it will prime the lid for eyeshadow and counteract any redness from veins on the eyelid. Using a small flat eye-shadow brush, apply an even amount of the product all over the lid. With your finger, lightly blend out the edges to blur out any harsh lines.

step2b

Step Two: Highlight
Using the small flat eye-shadow brush, lightly swipe NYX loose pigment in Pearl to the brow bone. Be sure to apply the majority of the product to the arch of the brow bone to life the eye.

step3b

Step Three: Define
To add subtle depth and dimension to lid, apply a light warm toned brown eye shadow to the crease. Use a soft and fluffy blending brush and apply in circular and windshield motions.

step4

Step Four: Underline
Using the same brush and warm toned brown, apply under the bottom lash line. Only apply a small amount of product and ensure that you blur the line for a smooth application.

step5

Step Five: Layer
The beauty about M.A.C Paint Pots is that they are multi-purposed, and the one used earlier can be used as an eye-shadow as well. Using the same small flat eye-shadow brush, re-apply the Painterly Paint Pot to the lid to sharpen the crease. Ensure that you do not apply over the crease.

step6

Step Six: Brighten
To brighten and open the inner corner of the eyes, apply a small amount of the NYX loose pigment in Pearl using the small flat eye-shadow brush again. To amplify the metallic pigment and create a foiled effect, you can spray M.A.C Fix+ on the brush before applying the product to the eye.

Step Seven: Mascara
Finally, apply your favourite mascara to the top and lower lash line. Individual lashes also compliment this look to create wispy and subtle volume.
