Local designer Paige Rowe hosted her Spring/Summer 16/17 runway at Fat Controller last week, showcasing a whole lot of layering and flattering cuts.
The night was sponsored by LVP Sangria by Lisa Vanderpump of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, seeing the whole venue flowing with the deliciously pink liquid. The dangerously more-ish beverage is what one would call the ultimate ladies drink, so naturally LVP Sangria was in high demand at the event.
Paige Rowe’s designs cater to women of all ages and sizes, and the latest collection boasts an array of versatile pieces that can be worn many different times in many different ways.
Her designer showcase proved testament to this, using a diverse range of models and presenting outfits that used the same pieces more than once, yet looked distinctly different each time.
Layering is a signature style for Paige Rowe, as is the use of statement prints and loose shirt and pant cuts. The Spring/Summer 16/17 collection bore a lot of monochrome and undertone in khaki, black and white.
Accessories included the Spartan Neckpieces and Trista Collar, used to enhance any otherwise casual outfit, as were the bright yellow Naja Heel and golden Fisher Sandals.
Our favourite piece would have to have been the Marley Top in Iliana Print, pictured above. The subtle split of the sleeves turns the shirt from casual to dressy in an instance and flows ever so gracefully in motion.
