Polo Ralph Lauren brings Adelaidian ladies a little something to celebrate

Last week, Adelaide’s fashion community united to celebrate the introduction of Polo Ralph Lauren for women in David Jones, Rundle Mall. A fabulous launch event was held on location, completed with flowing Champagne Pommery and funky tunes by a live DJ, as well as a generous 20% off storewide for attendees!

As we chowed down our delicious sliders and macaroons, we listened to host of the night and Elle Australia Fashion Editor, Emma Kalfus, talk trends and styling tips. Finesse Models emerged during the presentation, wearing top-to-toe Ralph and showing off different ways in which to style pieces from the Spring 2016 women’s collection.

Guests were presented with six stunning looks that accurately represented the Ralph woman, each of which maintained a sense of effortless class that oozed prep-chic style. Our favourite look was worn by the beautiful Katya Komarova, who showcased a structured black-and-white striped blazer and tight black turtle-neck top paired with white ankle-length pants and thin, strappy stilettos. A brown handbag was added to break up the monochrome achieving the perfect workplace outfit with an edge or fashionable, everyday look… Oh, the things we’d do to have this outfit sitting in our wardrobe.

The rest of the presentation showcased layering with a beige trench and jacket, as well as a branded T-shirt layered over a collared shirt both in shades of blue. The preppy neck-tied jumper made an appearance, paired with a fun blue-and-white, thinly striped dress which would look great for cold weather with stockings or warm weather with sandals.
