Start Fringe with a bang at NOLA’s Fat Tuesday!

Following on from the roaring success of last year’s street party, NOLA is celebrating Fat Tuesday again on the Fringe Festival opening night, 17th February!

Fat Tuesday is the biggest party on the Mardi Gras calendar, and NOLA plans to bring all the music, food, glitter and excitement of the carnival to the East End.

As well as both floors pumping at NOLA the party will also be spilling out onto Vardon Avenue, which will be closed from traffic for the evening, and onto the alleyway that connects NOLA to Rundle Street.

A Southern Comfort bar will be providing authentic cocktails from 5pm and Pirate Life Brewing will be on hand to supply the tinnies. NOLA’s neighbours Mothervine, East End Cellars and BRKLYN will be having pop-up food stalls on the night, as well as El Choto Paella Catering.

Jazz band Runebilly Rattle and DJ Adam Page will be delivering out fresh tunes on the night to ensure the party goes on well into the evening, like a real New Orleanian French Quarter party.
