Bank holidays are always a great chance to get away for the weekend, whether you’re popping over to Italy for some Tagliatelle and Aperol Spritz or making your way to Budapest for a relaxing thermal spa session. This time ‘round, however, we made the decision to stay put in London and have ourselves a little adventure exploring our new home city.
We welcomed the weekend with a rooftop party and brunch event, BEbrunch, at Century Club in Soho. Celebrating its 2nd anniversary, BEbrunch offered lively DJ entertainment, a bubble machine and a whole lot of Belvedere and Moet Chandon under the warmth of the sun.
Event Founder Tom Errington started the event following a trip to Dubai where he noticed a gap in the ‘breakfast entertainment’ industry in the UK. Giving off unmistakable day club vibes, BEbrunch had us in major holiday mode; we felt as though we were sailing a yacht in Croatia or drinking fruity cocktails in a resort somewhere exotic. Guests came dressed to the nines in button up white shirts and boat shoes, slinky bodycon sets and stilettos, funky summer dresses and patterned jumpsuits – it was quite the fashionable crowd.
As a venue, the Century Club really did an excellent job of making us feel as though we were spending our time away from London on some kind of European summer holiday (of course, the fortunate warm weather helped out with that!). Marble tables and palm leaf greenery made for a luxurious interior, with tables laying out bottles upon bottles of Belvedere vodka on ice. The rooftop was warm and bustling as the day progressed from a relaxed sit down brunch to a rowdy dance space and party haven (in the classiest way possible).
Verdict? Well, we had a seriously fun time at BEbrunch over the long weekend and did not at all regret not booking ourselves a trip away. Happy 2nd anniversary BEbrunch and thank you to The Lifestyle Agency for the invite!
