The Adelaidian’s top 5 skincare products of the month

This past month, we’ve been introducing a whole load of interesting new products to our skincare routines, ranging from serums and oils to face masks and cleansers.

Now, while we are aware it’s not particularly great for your skin to be mixing and matching too many different products, we’ve managed to pin down just five recently uncovered gems that we will be keeping as part of our routine!

1. Avene: Hydrance Aqua Cream-in-Gel

Avene’s brand new Hydrance Optimale Aqua Cream-in-Gel fuses the richness of a moisturising cream with the light texture and freshness of a gel. The product applies so smoothly and you don’t need much to get a decent coverage! We use ours in the morning, applying a light coverage to our face and neck which immediately gives us a fresh-faced glow.

2. Synergie Skin: Vitamin B Serum

We’ve been using this one for a while and can’t seem to shake it from our list of favourite skincare products; it’s just that good. This essential niacinamide serum is used nightly after cleansing, and it is a favourite due to its many benefits such as boosting skin immunity, reducing hyper pigmentation, suppressing excess oil for acne reduction and stimulating collagen production. It is also one of Synergie Skin’s most highly rated products!

3. Akhal: Organic Prickly Pear Seed Oil

We seem to circulate our oils on the regular and our hot pick of the month is most definitely Akhal’s Prickly Pear Seed Oil. It nourishes and regenerates while also fighting free radicals and basically makes the face feel fresh, plump and fantastic. After running our of our Tarte Cosmetics Maracuja Oil, we now use a single drop of the Prickly Pear to mix with our foundation, ensuring our faces are kept nourished throughout the day.
