Every girl’s dream is about to become a reality! Westfield are hosting a four day long festival dedicated to beauty and wellness called Today, I Am: Beautiful.
15 selected Westfield stores, Australia-wide, will partake in the beauty and wellness event aimed at empowering women from all walks of life.
The concept behind the ‘Today, I Am’ campaign is that fashion has the capacity to give individuals a sense of freedom and confidence to be whoever they want to be.
From October 15-18, Westfield centres will have masterclasses that will cater for diverse personalities. From hair and makeup to health and wellness, Westfield promises to have a styling session or beauty workshop suited to you!
Perfume bottle engraving with Chanel, personalised makeovers with Dior, wellness living workshops from GNC and for the guys, male grooming advice from Dolce & Gabanna model, David Grandy, are just some of the amazing sessions on offer at Westfield stores around Australia.
In Adelaide, Westfield Marion is where to go to discover how to nail your spring/summer style. With tips and tricks from the best of Marion’s hair and beauty teams, including M.A.C, Inglot, and Marion hair, Westfield Marion will be right amongst the beauty festivities.
Feeling beautiful from the inside out will also be on Marion’s checklist, with teams from Lorna Jane, Go Vita, Endota, Jurlique and Lush coming together at Marion’s Beauty Hub.
Lisa Bondarenko from Mind Heart Body will be speaking at the event. Bondarenko’s core belief is that our entire being needs nurturing and attention and that one size does not fit all. With this positive outlook on life that truly embraces wellbeing, Bondarenko is the perfect candidate to address those who attend the seminar.
Lisa believes this upcoming seminar takes a different slant on ‘beauty’. “Whilst the external is a major focus when it comes to how we as women look and feel, we have a lineup of inspirational women who have all found a slice of ‘beauty’ that has helped them overcome, conquer and live extraordinary fulfilled lives that are FULL of beauty from the inside out. ”

The ‘Today, I Am’ crusade was introduced with Westfield’s Spring Summer 2015 (SS15) fashion campaign. It started as a digital offering, with Lara Worthington (nee Bingle) and Kelly Osbourne the faces of the movement. Taking on the role of Westfield style ambassadors, Worthington and Osbourne featured in a series of short films that explore their perspectives on fashion and beauty. Soon after, the idea morphed into the upcoming festival of beauty.
It has been a while since we have seen Lara Worthington in the spotlight. Worthington disappeared from the radar after the birth of her first child, Rocket Zot in March of this year. It left many asking “where the bloody hell are ya”, but she has since returned to her roots of style and innovation better than ever in the latest Westfield campaign.
“The most empowering movement of my life to date would be giving birth”, she says in one of the short films dedicated to the beauty movement. “It is the most beautiful, insanely amazing thing in the world. Today, I am a mother”.
The film captures Lara’s style, which she explains helps her feel confident as a mother and wife. It features the latest SS15 trends from designers including Zimmerman, Dion Lee, Cotton On, Sheike and Swarovski.
