One of the easiest ways to add some extra fitness to your day is by ditching the elevator and taking the stairs. Better yet, ditch the desk lunch break, give your eyes a rest from the screen and go for a couple of rounds on the stairs. What might seem like an all-too-simple task is actually called incline training, and it’s great for legs and cardio. Pro tip: if you keep a little can of Sure in your desk at work as well, you’ll always feel fresh even if you work up a sweat.
Another super simple tip is to get off your bus or train a few stops earlier and walk the rest of your commute. You might have to leave the house a little earlier than usual, but the fresh air and exercise will help wake you up and energise you for the day.
