Last week, Jo Malone London‘s very own Fragrance & Lifestyle Expert, Emma South, invited us to the Regent Street store for a very special whisky pairing session with Diageo.
Alongside Diageo Whisky Ambassador David Sinclair, Emma talked us through the fragrances of Jo Malone’s whimsical new Brit Collection, English Fields, with David comparing each scent to a complementary whisky.
The English Fields range brings about a sense of summer, sunshine and happiness, exuding earthy notes of poppy, barley, primrose, rye and so much more. When nosed against whiskies such as Haig Club Grain Whisky and Cardhu Single Malt Whisky, it was truly intriguing to observe the different aromas could be enhanced.
Whisky and cologone: who would’ve thought these two could combine so seamlessly?
