Find yourself immersed in the whimsical vintage-wear offered by Luna Wolf Vintage located upstairs above Zero Boutique, Shop 25, Regent Arcade. With their concept store officially opening as of last week, Luna Wolf Vintage combined with Zero Boutique to host a launch party, giving family and friends as well as other selected guests the chance to lust over their stock in store.
The space itself is small yet ever-so inviting, characterised by a cow-hide carpet, 70’s style vintage couch, loads of little knick-knacks and alternative wall deco with posters and flags plastering the walls. Expect to find lovable owners and siblings Scott and Ali Kavanagh hanging around upstairs in the store, offering assistance with shopping or just up for a friendly chat.
We spoke with the pair, who expressed their shared love of vintage-wear and discussed their transition from online to in-store. Having begun the online store last December, Scott and Ali are now bringing racks upon racks of unique American vintage to life for their customers by securing their concept store in Zero Boutique.
Majority of the stock comes from LA or New York, including a range of grungy printed tees, suede tasseled jackets, loads of denim overalls and a selection of bomber, denim and faux fur jackets. We see these pieces as ideal for music festivals, gigs, or a way of giving your everyday outfit just that little bit of edge.
Immediately falling in love with the vast array of jackets on display, we decided we’d play dress-ups and have a fun little photoshoot in their concept store, utilising the surrounding furniture, decoration and knick-knacks for the shoot.
This fun bomber jacket really edge-ifies my look. I feel tough and rough, and oh boy does it feel great to be the tough kid on the playground. Pair the bomber jacket with denim jeans or shorts and a printed tee from Luna Wolf and you’ll be set for your new rockstar outfit.
Oh, to wear a classic denim jacket or a frayed denim vest? The opportunities are endless with denim, and it is timeless beyond belief.
We’re all about that faux fur in the winter. For a glamorous 1950’s Hollywood look, grab a faux fur overcoat and some black cat-eye sunglasses from Luna Wolf and spend your night oozing class.
Did someone say suede tassels? Inspiring a native American essence, these jackets are a festival favourite. If Falls Festival weather was even a fraction of what it was like it was last time, you’d definitely benefit from one of these bad boys for those chilly days!
There is no doubt the lone wolf dresses to his or her own style, irrespective of mass trend or the opinion of others. Shine effortlessly bright like the moonlight in your Luna Wolf vintage-wear and, in the words of Luna Wolf: Own pieces that are unique as you.
