Barbie Green is Aussie brunch done right

We fell in love with Scarlett Green, and now we’re having a lil obsession with its baby sister Barbie Green. Located in the artsy area of Barbican and in the historic London Wall Place, it’s the perfect spot for this bright and vibrant addition to the Daisy Green Family.

Wall to ceiling glass makes the whole ground floor feel super light and breezy, even when you’re huddled up inside escaping a cold, wintery day. Remnants of the London Wall make for an interesting and unique view.

The brunch menu has all the modern-day classics you’d expect to find at any good foodie spot, like shakshouka, smashed avo and house-made granola. If you’re looking for something a little unexpected though, we’d highly recommend the fancy bacon roll, with poached eggs, crispy onions, bacon and holy f*ck hollandaise wrapped up in a paratha roti. The buttermilk blueberry pancakes are another standout, with fresh berries, mascarpone and pure maple. We’ve never really been a massive fan of pancakes (for brunch or otherwise) but these were so light and fluffy we just couldn’t stop eating them.

On weekends Barbie Green offer a fun bottomless brunch deal, where you can choose one savoury dish, one sweet dish and either bottomless prosecco or mimosas for £39.50 per person, for 100 minutes. If that’s not a fab way to kickstart your weekend, we don’t know what is.

Barbie Green is open 7-days a week for all your breakfast, lunch and brunching needs, and with room for almost 80 people inside and out, there’s space for everyone.
