There’s absolutely nothing like a free feed to start the weekend right, and Drunken Sailor are here to fill your sails.
From 12pm today (26/08/17) O’Connell St’s newest venue will be giving away free fish and chips to celebrate their launch weekend.
Each day the Drunken Sailor menu changes to reflect the catch of the day, ensuring that your fish is always freshly caught and of the highest quality.
You won’t be splashing all your hard-earned cash on one seafood meal here either. Drunken Sailor aim to provide a gourmet experience at an affordable price point, with the option to take everything away and enjoy it in the comfort of your own home.
“We cater for those with a busy lifestyle who want a great meal but don’t have the time to dine out. You can enjoy the full a la carte menu in our intimate dine-in setting, or alternatively, can devour freshly caught fish cooked to perfection in the comfort of your own home,” says Head Chef Hien Nguyen.
Some of the fish you’ll find regularly rotating on the menu are South Australian Flathead, Tasmanian Salmon, and Northern Territory Barramundi, which can be traditionally battered or uniquely wood oven baked.
Other exciting menu options include Lobster Roll, Vietnamese Salmon Salad Bowl and Prawn Bao Buns.
For those drawn to the ‘drunken’ part of the name, you’ll find plenty of local SA booze on the menu here, like the aptly named Boats n Schmoes Session Ale and Seas The Day Sauvignon Blanc.
